You don’t’ want to keep sending newsletters that are boring or ineffective, since this could work against you and drive users away from your site.   • Always make your newsletters interesting to read. You should always check the newsletter for flow of thought and good structure, so that the users can find it easy and fun to read. You should try to ensure that the newsletter is as short as possible, so that people aren’t put off by the prospect of reading large volumes of literature. The combination of all these is that your newsletters should be short enough but still engaging.

  • Your information should be up to date. When users realize that the information you provide is always up to date, they will be more willing to refer to them for information. They will also realize that you are a serious businessman, and that all the information you provide is relevant.

  • Always check your work for grammatical errors. The worst turnoff for any prospective customer is shoddy grammatical errors. These basically mean that you are a careless businessman, so they are unlikely to do any business with you.
Your newsletters should be relevant to the products that you are selling. Though this sounds very obvious, many people fail to practice it. If you are in the business of selling software, for instance, your newsletters should be geared towards the same.
